Our growing portfolio of companies is diverse and includes: modular building (modDsys), wellness solutions and building materials (Nareta), technology development (Zadeh) and hospitality.
We are expanding and are now looking for a **capable and highly organised Materials Planner** to join our Stock Control team.
**The job**
The material planner's responsibilities include determining material specifications, creating and maintaining inventory schedules, coordinating with internal departments, and managing external stakeholder relations.
- Ensure materials meet specifications, quality standards, and are cost-efficient.
- Track production volume and monitor demand patterns.
- Responsible to check the availability of stocks and accordingly advise the procurement department to order for materials/products which are needed for production across the various product lines and companies.
- Coordinate with other departments regarding production goals, timelines, etc.
- Periodically review materials/products which are consumed on a regular basis and keep a minimum stock quantity on these.
- Drive regular cycle counts, mid-year counts and year end counts of stocks to maintain book/system versus physical stock accuracy.
- Ensure all trackers pertaining to stocks are maintained / updated real time for receipts and issues.
**What you need to bring**
- Demonstrated experience as a materials planner, inventory management, purchasing, or a related position
- Excellent understanding of inventory management and supply chain operations and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent excel skills and experience in using ERP (MS Navision a plus)
- 3-5 years with a building material company or hardware store
- Highly Proactive, Analytical, Good in Communication, Eye for Detail, Deadline conscious, Team spirit
