Position**:Procurement Manager**

Job Location**:Abu Dhabi**

Reports directly to the top management, supervise and lead the Procurement Department, the Procurement Manager’s main priorities will be strategizing and negotiating with suppliers and vendors in order to acquire the most economical deals and to reduce procurement expenses. Should be a supply chain and logistics expert who will specialize in implementing cost-effective deployment of all goods and services, as required by the company. Ensuring quality control and adhering to the company’s policies and procedures on supply chain management.

Also, the Procurement Manager will spearhead the purchasing process from selecting suppliers to ensuring stock optimization, as well as provide guidance on sourcing and procurement processes.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective
- Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements; In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms
- Overseeing and managing the whole Procurement Department, team members and company’s Procurement software/system that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods
- Leading in sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors
- Leading the negotiation with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms
- Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
- Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services
- Researching profitable suppliers and initiate procurement partnerships
- Negotiating with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
- Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
- Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
- Examine and review existing contracts for gaps and enhancements
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
- Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
- Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
- Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
- Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
- Preparing procurement reports for the top management, preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports
- Any ad hoc duties assigned by The Management

**Minimum requirements and qualifications**:

- Masters or Bachelor’s degree related to area such as Business of Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Purchasing & Procurement or any related field;
- **Certified Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS)**:

- Minimum 10 to 15 years’ proven purchasing experience in the UAE related to Hospitality industry or experience in an integrated Private or Semi-Private Resort and Country Club or Sports Club with both Membership and Public access in a similar role
- Proven working experience as a Procurement Manager, Procurement Officer or Head of Procurement and managing supply chain operations
- Knowledgeable in sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading and analyzing” the current market
- Leadership skills, organizational and planning abilities including the ability to deal with/work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Excellent negotiation skills with outstanding vendor management skills and sharp problem-solving skills
- Familiarity in using Purchasing, Logistics systems such as: ordering and delivery process for commodities or services through the use of automated procurement systems, and assures invoice payment by monitoring the process from initiation of a purchase order through the receipt of the goods or services and billing
- Experience using supply chain management software and tools, including _Oracle, SAP Ariba, and/or Envision_
- Handle confidential matters/information with the appropriate level of sensitivity
- Well-organized, excellent multi-tasking abilities and work well under pressure
- Resourceful, strong initiative and able to act on a limited time, with strong problem solving skills and use forward-thinking to address potential problems at the venue should they arise
- Ability to provide honest feedback and constructive criticism to the team
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility with people skills, excellent listener and having the ability to network
- Strong written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual in Arabic & English

**Salary**: AED25,000.00 - AED28,000.00 per month
