**Job Title: School Accounts Manager**

**Job Summary**:
The School Accounts Manager oversees the financial operations of the school, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial matters. This role involves managing budgets, financial reporting, payroll processing, accounts payable and receivable, and liaising with external stakeholders such as vendors, auditors, and regulatory bodies. The School Accounts Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of the school.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Management**:

- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures in line with school objectives and regulations.
- Manage the school's budget, monitor spending, and provide regular reports to the management team.
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and documented.
- Monitor cash flow and manage banking activities.
- **Accounting Functions**:

- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and collections.
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to maintain accuracy.
- Coordinate with auditors during annual audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- **Payroll Administration**:

- Manage payroll processing, including calculations, deductions, and tax filings.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries and benefits to employees.
- Address payroll-related inquiries and issues from staff members.
- **Financial Reporting and Analysis**:

- Generate financial reports for management, trustees, and other stakeholders as required.
- Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.
- Identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- **Vendor Management**:

- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and service providers.
- Review vendor invoices and ensure timely payment.
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors and resolve any issues or disputes that arise.
- **Compliance and Regulatory Affairs**:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, including tax laws and reporting requirements.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
- Prepare and submit statutory reports and filings as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience in financial management, accounting, or a related field, preferably in an educational institution.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: AED4,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
