*Overview:*
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Outpatient Department (OPD) Nurse to join our healthcare team. The OPD Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the outpatient setting, including assessment, treatment, and follow-up care. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient patient flow and maintaining high standards of patient care.
*Key Responsibilities:*
1. *Patient Care:*
- Conduct patient assessments, including taking medical histories and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist with minor procedures and wound care.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
2. *Patient Education:*
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and medications.
- Provide instructions on post-treatment care and lifestyle modifications.
- Assist in developing patient care plans and ensuring patient understanding and adherence.
3. *Coordination and Collaboration:*
- Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, and follow-up visits.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers.
4. *Documentation and Record-Keeping:*
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Ensure all documentation complies with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems efficiently.
5. *Clinical Support:*
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and well-stocked.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, patient registration, and billing.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff meetings.
6. *Safety and Compliance:*
- Adhere to all infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Stay updated with continuing education and training in relevant areas.
*Qualifications:*
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Pay: Up to AED5,000.00 per month
License/Certification:
- Eligibility letter or DOH (required)
