Car Painter

**Job Title**: Painter

**Division**: Automotive Department Eastern Motors

**Section**: Aftersales - Service - Multibrand Bodyshop

**JOB PURPOSE**: Perform quality body preparation, painting and refinishing on all body elements to return them to the manufacturer's specifications in observance of operating procedures to ensure customer satisfaction

**Accountabilities**:

- Operations: Identify the customer requests, analyze them with supervisor/foreman, and refine the repair process. Perform the requested work, in observance of the manufacturer's methods, recommendations and operating procedures. Undertake request on accordance of work order.

Remain in contact with his foreman during the work to inform him to the check results and of his work and seek help or assistance
- Tools & Equipments: Prepare all tools and equipment to complete the task carefully taking into consideration the material being painted.

Ensure all components at the periphery of the work location are in good working condition and operational.
- Delivery: Prepare vehicle for delivery. Ensure all equipment and accessories are in place, check vehicle has been cleaned and return any damaged or old parts to the customer if requested.
- Painter will be closely working with the line manager, foreman and the painting team. Will follow operational procedures as instructed by Mercedes Benz.

- **QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES Qualification (e.g. Academic Qualification, Certifications, Licenses)**
- Secondary School Education Certificate.
- Certification as Paintshop specialist from Dealership is preferred.

**Experience**:

- 1 year of minimum experience as a painter within Bodyshop/Automotive workshop.
- Experience as a painter with luxury car brand preferred.
