**Summary**:
The AutoCAD Draftsman plays a crucial role in the design and development process of real estate projects. They are responsible for creating detailed and accurate technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software. These drawings are essential for obtaining permits, guiding construction, and ensuring projects meet design and regulatory standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Drafting**:

- Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings and plans for various real estate projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
- Prepare site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details using AutoCAD.
- Revise and update existing drawings as per project changes and requirements.
- Ensure drawings are accurate, clear, and comply with company standards and local building codes.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and other team members to understand project requirements and incorporate design changes.
- Participate in design meetings and provide technical support to the team.
- Coordinate with external consultants and contractors as needed.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Maintain proficiency in AutoCAD software and stay updated on the latest versions and features.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of drafting principles, techniques, and standards.
- Be familiar with relevant building codes and regulations.
- **Project Management**:

- Organize and manage drawing files and project documentation.
- Meet project deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Associate's degree or diploma in drafting, architectural technology, or a related field.
- Certification in AutoCAD is a plus.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an AutoCAD draftsman in the real estate or construction industry.
- Proven track record of creating accurate and detailed technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of architectural and engineering concepts.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD software.
- Strong technical drawing and visualization skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
