Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Inspector O&M - Landscape **to join our team In this role you will get to o versee the routine operations and maintenance works by the O&M Contractors at site.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Ensure that all construction works related to soft and hard landscaping are performed in strict accordance with the plans and specifications.
- Maintain a detailed diary of the day’s work activities, issues, work approved or rejected, hours of operation, labour and equipment used, etc. and sign at the end of each day as directed by the ARE.
- Interface with the public and stake holders adjacent to the work to mitigate the construction impacts.
- Coordinate with the contractor’s foreman in charge of the work daily to advice on the proper execution of the work.
- Coordinate with the Materials Inspectors and arrange for sampling and testing of satisfactorily completed work, and quality assurance testing of suspect materials.
- Coordinate with the Surveyors to check the line and grade of ready work and completed work for conformance with the plans and specifications.
- Report questionable methods of operation by the Contractor to the ARE or to the Resident Engineer.
- Report to ARE or RE any failure of the Contractor to perform the work as per the drawings and specifications and to provide good workmanship.
- Process the Inspection Requests and maintain records of their status.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed by the contractor in case the work is performed on a Day Works basis.
- Prepares various inspection reports, progress Reports and other site records as required within the Contract or as required by the Client or PMC staff
- Oversees the daily routine operations and maintenance works by the O&M Contractors at site and identifies any issues or required works.
- Responsible for conducting field inspections, tests, evaluations, verifications, and documentation of the O&M Contractor’s inspections, preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance within all Landscape and Irrigation systems including the landscaping, irrigation, beach maintenance and cleaning, plant nursery maintenance and closed canal maintenance.
- Supports the civil, electrical and mechanical inspectors with all landscape support inspection activities.
- Act in a professional way but firm in dealings with the Contractor.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Landscape Architecture / Engineering diploma or other related technical diploma.
- Minimum 5 years of experience operation and maintenance of landscape projects.
- Significant experience in Abu Dhabi or UAE in inspecting landscaping works.
- Knowledge and experience in using computer software Computerized Maintenance Management Software such as Maximo 7, FSI Concept Evolution, etc
- Strong analytic capabilities and the ability to work independently.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Commitment to quality and safe work practice

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring**:

- Valid UAE Driving License will be a plus
- Relevant work experience in Abu Dhabi is preferred.
