**Responsibilities**:

- Define web/backend architectures and solutions from business requirements, produce estimates and timelines, and manage delivery against those plans,
- Develop front-end website architecture which includes designing interactive, responsive, and dynamic web pages,
- Work with others to ensure adherence to code standards and best practices,
- Staying well-informed about the current developments in the world of web development, learning about emerging concepts in full stack, and updating project leaders regarding the same,
- Meeting with decision-makers and introducing new developments to the project to ensure optimal web development,
- Develop and integrate Application Programming Interface (APIs) which is quite indispensable when it comes to working with different 3rd party software,

**About you**:

- 5+ years of software development experience,
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English,
- A positive attitude always looking to empower the success of others,
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript (or CoffeeScript), Node.js, Nest.js, Express.js, Backbone.js, and jQuery,
- Experience writing, optimizing and tuning code for performance and maintainability - includes utilizing asynchronous programming, offline storage, and multi
- threading as well as working around system / language limitations to achieve desired performance benchmarks,
- Experience with back-end data management that optimizes RESTful APIs / microservices performance for varied user platforms - desktop, mobile (iOS), web services, and more,
- Database design and management, including being up on the latest practices and associated versions (PostgreSQL, MySQL),
- Server management and deployment for the relevant environment,
- Thorough understanding of user experience and possibly even product strategy,
- Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests,
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git,
- Appreciation for clean and well documented code,
- Willingness to take ownership and find ways to unblock oneself,
