Collection Officer

Responsible to receive invoices from accounts department & log the same in the tracker for follow-up with the clients.
- Acknowledge the invoices received from accountant.
- Log invoices in the log sheet accordingly for tracking purposes.
- Updating all records for receivables.
- Generating the daily MIS reports for management review for outstanding receivables.
- Post’s customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
- Updates receivables by totalling unpaid invoices.
- Maintains records by microfilming invoices, debits, and credits.
- Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments, and from customers;
- Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account; verifying totals; preparing report.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Collect payments and post to accounts.
- Reach out to customers with unpaid debt and attempt to collect from them.
- Maintain files on the financial status of accounts.
- Keep track of delinquent accounts.
- Make personal visits, and collect debts.
- Set up repayment plans according to ability to pay.
- Advise customers of default consequences and debt repayment policies.
- Attempt to repossess merchandise if client has not paid debt.
- Record address changes.
- Negotiate credit extensions.
- Compile reports on delinquent account for management.
- Any other tasks as assigned by the Department Manager

**Required skills**:

- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
- Computer skills
- Billing/Invoicing

**Eligibility**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in Collection.
- Bachelor Degree in any discipline.
- Valid UAE Driving License will be added advantage.
- Preference will be given for immediate joiners
- Job Location: Dubai_
