**Job Description: Building Watchman**

Are you a vigilant, responsible, and reliable individual seeking a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of a prominent building? We are currently looking for a dedicated Watchman to protect our premises and maintain a safe environment for all occupants. As the first line of defense, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the building and its occupants from potential threats or emergencies.

**Responsibilities**:
1. **Security Patrol**: Conduct regular patrols throughout the building, both indoors and outdoors, to deter unauthorized access and ensure all areas are secure.

2. **Access Control**: Monitor and control access to the building, allowing entry only to authorized personnel, visitors, or residents.

3. **Surveillance**: Keep a watchful eye on security cameras and alarm systems to identify any suspicious activities or potential security breaches.

4. **Emergency Response**: Be prepared to respond swiftly and appropriately to emergencies such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches, and initiate the necessary emergency procedures.

5. **Incident Reporting**: Document and report any security incidents, accidents, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate authorities or management promptly.

6. **Maintenance and Inspection**: Regularly inspect the building's perimeter, entrances, and exits to identify and address any potential security vulnerabilities or maintenance issues.

7. **Visitor Assistance**: Assist visitors and residents with inquiries and directions, providing a helpful and professional demeanor.

8. **Key Management**: Manage key distribution and collection, ensuring the safekeeping and accountability of all keys.

9. **Security Procedures**: Enforce building security policies and procedures, making sure they are followed by all occupants and visitors.

10. **Collaboration**: Cooperate and communicate effectively with other staff members, including building management, maintenance, and other security personnel.

**Requirements**:
1. **Experience**: Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

2. **Physical Fitness**: The role requires walking, standing, and the ability to respond to emergencies promptly, so good physical condition is essential.

3. **Observation Skills**: Strong attention to detail and keen observation skills to identify potential risks or security breaches.

4. **Communication**: Good verbal and written communication skills are vital for reporting incidents and interacting with occupants and visitors.
