Our Client

A leading retail group in the UAE have an exciting newly created opportunity for a Deputy CEO to join their team based in Dubai.

Your Responsibilities
- Working with the board and other executives, you will leading and develop the overall business strategy ensuring high quality business strategies are implemented
- Oversees the organization’s financial structure, ensuring adequate and sound funding for the mission and goals of the company
- Lead the ROI review and prioritization of large volumes of project plans to ensure they are aligned with the overall business strategy & roadmap
- Reviews the financial results of all operations, comparing them with the company’s objectives and taking appropriate measures to correct unsatisfactory performance and results
- Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company’s legality and business ethics
- Negotiates with other companies regarding actions such as mergers, acquisitions, or joint ventures Serve as the company’s representative to the board of directors, shareholders, employees, customers, the government and public

Your Qualifications
- Bachelors and Masters degree educated
- Proven experience as a CEO/CFO in an established organisation
- Retail industry experience, working at corporate office level is essential. Experience working in a family group environment is beneficial
- Must have a very good exposure to national & international markets and its commercial activities
- Proven experience of developing high quality profitable strategies, implementing visions & understanding corporate businesses functions and corporate governance Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a strong level of gravitas and the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
