**Halo Interiors LLC** is a UK Managed bespoke Joinery and Fitout company based in Al Quoz that is looking to expand its operations and is currently hiring for the below role:
**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
**Quality Assurance**:
Conduct thorough inspections of ongoing interior fit-out projects to ensure compliance with established quality standards and specifications.
Identify and report any deviations, defects, or discrepancies in workmanship, materials, and finishes.
Collaborate with project managers and site teams to address and rectify quality-related issues promptly.
Provide guidance and recommendations to improve overall project quality.

**Health and Safety**:
Monitor and enforce adherence to all health and safety regulations, codes, and best practices on construction sites.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards, unsafe practices, and non-compliance.
Develop and implement safety plans, procedures, and training programs to enhance site safety awareness.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare comprehensive reports with recommendations for prevention.

**Environmental Compliance**:
Assess project activities to ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
Monitor waste management practices, including proper disposal and recycling of materials.
Recommend eco-friendly practices and initiatives to minimize the company's environmental footprint.

**Documentation and Reporting**:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all QHSE inspections, findings, and corrective actions.
Generate detailed inspection reports and present findings to project stakeholders and management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely resolution of identified issues.

**Training and Education**:
Provide training sessions and workshops for site personnel to promote a strong QHSE culture.
Keep abreast of industry developments and changes in regulations, and communicate relevant updates to the team.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in relevant QHSE disciplines (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO 9001, ISO 14001) are a must.
- Proven experience as a QHSE Inspector within the interior fit-out or construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international QHSE regulations, codes, and standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and assess risks and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using QHSE-related software and tools.
