The InterContinental® Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort and Spa comprise of 351 keys, a health club, a spa, and two pools. Covering an area of 43,770 sqm, the resort is a short drive from famous archaeological sites such as Dhayah Fort and Sheba’s Palace. Set on a headland surrounded by protected coastal wetlands with lush landscaping fronting a sweeping beach on one side and a manmade waterway on the other, the guest rooms, suites, and chalets offer panoramic water views.

**Your day to day**
Under the general direction of the Front Office Manager and within the limits of the established InterContinental Hotels Group and local policies and procedures, oversees and directs all aspects of the guest relations function including Club InterContinental to achieve the highest possible guest satisfaction to current and future VIPs and Club InterContinental guests.

Maintains a solid relationship with the F&B and Kitchen team to ensure optimal guest experience at the InterContinental Club.

Is accountable for maintaining smooth, efficient and seamless operations in hotel lobby and lounge; support other operational departments when necessary. Expected to cover Duty Manager shifts when necessary.

Ensures maximum interaction is achieved with Hotel Guests, that Loyalty card holders are recognized as per their status and receiving special treatment, and is present at all PR events taking place in the hotel.

**What we need from you**
- Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Management/Business Administration
- 3 years of Front Office/Guest Service experience including management experience. Must speak fluent English; other languages preferred.
- Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with guests, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
- Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when completing paperwork and management reports, interpreting results, giving and receiving instructions, and training.
- Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances are utilized frequently.
- Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities are used often.
- Ability to travel to attend workshops, specialized training and/or certifications, etc.
- May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
