Overview:
The main purpose of the Senior level Enterprise Architect is to design and implement the overall strategy for the organization's technology systems.

**Responsibilities**:

- Creating a vision for the organization's technology landscape and ensuring that all technology decisions align with the overall business goals.
- Working closely with other executives, as well as with teams across the organization, to understand the needs and requirements of different departments and to develop solutions that support the organization's goals.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies, and make recommendations on how they can be used to improve the organization's systems and processes.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors and partners, and for negotiating contracts and agreements that support the organization's technology needs.
- In addition to their technical expertise, the senior enterprise architect also has strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- They are able to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to understand terms, and to build consensus and alignment among teams and across the organization.
- The senior enterprise architect is a strategic thinker who is able to identify long-term trends and developments in the technology landscape, and to develop plans and strategies that position the organization for success in the future.

Qualifications:

- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in leading the design and implementation of complex technology systems and strategies
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build consensus and align teams around a common vision
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and evaluate new technologies and make recommendations on their use.
- A deep understanding of the business needs and goals of an organization, and the ability to develop technology solutions that support those goals.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for enterprise architecture, and experience in working with vendors and partners to support the organization's technology needs.
- Experience in designing and implementing cloud-based technology solutions, including infrastructure-as-a -service (IaaS), platform-as-a-service (PaaS), and software-as-a-service (SaaS)
- Knowledge of different cloud computing models, including public, private, and hybrid clouds, and the ability to evaluate the pros and cons of each model in relation to the organization's needs
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices, and experience in implementing security controls and policies to protect the organization's data and systems in the cloud.
- Familiarity with different cloud service providers, and experience in negotiating contracts and agreements with vendors to support the organization's cloud computing needs.
