Welder (Oil & Gas Field Equipment Services)

**I.** **Position Summary**
A welder joins metal parts using a tool that generates intense heat. A welder is also responsible to polish and smooth out metal surfaces that are welded. They will use either a computer to remotely control equipment or hand-held equipment to cut or join metal parts, fill a hole or fix seams in metal.
**II.**
**Responsibilities**:
1. Reads and comprehends construction drawings and specifications.
2. Sourcing the materials to be used in the project.
3. Measuring and cutting materials to specifications.
4. Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together.
5. Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints.
6. Lays out and installs piping, equipment, and other mechanical systems in compliance with drawings and specifications.
7. Marks up drawings and specifications with as-built status.
**Salary**: AED2,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
