**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and analyze project cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow projections for steel construction projects.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and measurements from architectural and engineering drawings to determine material quantities and labor requirements.
- Source and negotiate prices with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive bids for materials, equipment, and services.
- Monitor project expenditures, track costs against budgets, and identify any variances or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to forecast project costs and provide regular updates on financial performance.
- Prepare detailed progress reports, cost reports, and financial analyses to support project decision-making and reporting requirements.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses and value engineering assessments to optimize project profitability and efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents, contracts, and procurement strategies as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and regulatory changes affecting construction costs and procurement practices.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, preferably with a focus on steel structures and infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs, particularly related to steel constructions.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools, such as CostX, Bluebeam, or equivalent.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to perform accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimations.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Familiarity with UAE construction regulations, standards, and procurement practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Professional accreditation or certification in quantity surveying is preferred.
