**Lansea Group** in conjunction with our associate client based in Dubai is looking to recruit experienced **Fabrication Supervisor.**

**QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED**:

- **EDUCATION**: Some college or Associate Degree
- **EXPERIENCE**: 3 to 5 years of related experience in a steel manufacturing, site construction and/or oil & gas environment of which at least 2 years as Supervisor.

**SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/COMPETENCES (Technical)**:

- Good knowledge of fabrication, welding and production processes & standards; knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of raw materials, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of products.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Painting and Final packing.
- Operation knowledge of heavy equipment (Forklift, Crane operation).
- Basic Industrial Safety

**Special Training Skills**:

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to create basic reports as required.

**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Enforce safety regulations
- Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production.
- Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
- Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
- Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
- Observe work and monitor gauges, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards.
- Conduct employee training in equipment operations, or assign employee training to experienced workers.
- Monitor all tools and equipment and machinery to determine requirement for maintenance.
- Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers.
- Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs.
- Requisition materials, supplies, equipment parts, or repair services.
- Maintain operations data, such as time, production, and cost records, and prepare management reports of production results.
- Determine standards, budgets, production goals, and rates, based on company policies, equipment and labor availability, and workloads.
- Confer with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances.
- Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
- Recommend or execute personnel actions, such as hirings, evaluations, and promotions.
- Calculate labor and equipment requirements and production specifications, using standard formulas.
- Plan and develop new products and production processes.
- Any other task assigned

**Salary**: From AED5,000.00 per month
