**Job Title**: Sandwich Maker

**Job Summary**:
The Sandwich Maker is responsible for preparing a variety of sandwiches, wraps, and related items according to established recipes and customer preferences. This role requires attention to detail, speed, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene. The Sandwich Maker works closely with the kitchen team to ensure that all orders are prepared accurately and presented attractively.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sandwich Preparation**:
1. Prepare and assemble a variety of sandwiches, wraps, paninis, and other related items, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and of high quality.

2. Follow established recipes and customer instructions to create sandwiches that meet specific dietary needs and taste preferences.

3. Slice, portion, and prepare meats, cheeses, vegetables, and condiments for sandwich assembly.

**Quality Control**:
1. Ensure that all sandwiches are prepared to the highest standards of taste, appearance, and portion size.

2. Monitor the freshness and quality of ingredients, discarding any items that do not meet quality standards.

3. Maintain consistency in sandwich preparation and presentation, following standard recipes and guidelines.

**Customer Interaction**:
1. Engage with customers to take sandwich orders, provide recommendations, and accommodate special requests or dietary restrictions.

2. Prepare sandwiches in front of customers, ensuring they are involved in the customization process.

3. Handle any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.

**Inventory Management**:
1. Monitor stock levels of sandwich ingredients and supplies, notifying the kitchen supervisor of any shortages.

2. Assist in the ordering and receiving of ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality.

3. Minimize waste by using ingredients efficiently and properly storing leftovers.

**Health and Safety Compliance**:
1. Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards, including proper storage, handling, and preparation of ingredients.

2. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sandwich preparation stations, cutting boards, and utensils.

3. Ensure that all sandwiches are prepared and served within safe temperature guidelines.

**Collaboration and Communication**:
1. Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of sandwiches during service.

2. Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and promptly.

3. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for menu development and service improvements.

**Cleaning and Maintenance**:
1. Ensure that all sandwich preparation tools and equipment are cleaned and maintained regularly.

2. Follow proper procedures for disposing of waste and maintaining a sanitary work environment.

3. Perform regular checks of kitchen equipment used in sandwich making to ensure it is in good working order.

**Customer Service**:
1. Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, ensuring a positive dining experience.

2. Take feedback from customers and adjust sandwich preparation methods accordingly.

3. Assist with other kitchen duties as needed, including preparation of salads, sides, and beverages.

**Qualifications**:
