We are looking for a Consultant, to join our MENA Consulting team.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Solution Consulting, the Consultant is responsible for helping universities and research institutes at developing and implementing their strategic plans and approaches in research and education.

This is an amazing opportunity for someone to help implement and ensure the accurate delivery of informational, advisory and analysis services. If you have a solid understanding of research tools and capacity building activities, we would love to speak with you.

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments.- Bachelor’s degree in related field.- 5-7 years of experience in client facing/consulting role or academia.

It would be great if you also had...- Fluency in Arabic- Advanced degree in related field- Experience data analysis tools and techniques and ability to use them to extract meaningful insights.- Experience in university rankings, quality assurance in education and research.- Prior experience working with Clarivate research tools specifically WOS/JCR/INCITES and Endnote.

What will you be doing in this role?- Develop strategic plans for various academic bodies and follow up implementation.- Work closely with entities in order to perform their performance SWOT analysis and issue recommendations accordingly in terms of research and education.- Plan and streamline the universities’ workflow to ensure that processes adhere to quality assurance requirements.- Deliver workshops helping universities’ decision makers and academic researchers to perform their tasks as per the designed strategies objectives.- Build a trust relationship with the clients thus permitting a tangible sharing of expertise on both sides.- Enhance Clarivate Analytics Knowledge base in strategic planning services through adoption of good practices in performed tasks and actions.- Manage projects with the clients in a quality assured manner thus enrich lessons learned in customer relations management.- Propose new services permitting Clarivate Analytics to develop its market share.- Work with team members closely, assuring an efficient platform of expertise sharing within and throughout the team and the company respectively.- Support sales activities through being able to demonstrate on different IP and Science solutions whenever needed.- Develop your own academic and research profile in order to guarantee being among active researchers and innovators in the research market.

About the Team

The role reports to the Senior Manager, Solution Consulting, based in UAE.

You are invited to join our MENA consulting team, a collective of Business operations experts dedicated to the Academic & Government sectors. This team collaborates closely with all organizational functions, including Product, Global Sales & Marketing, under the guidance of our management team. Our MENA team specializes in consulting services for universities, encompassing research strategies, ranking methodologies, capacity building activities, research planning and analysis, as well as benchmarking. Emphasizing collaboration and the exchange of information among team members, we uphold the value of providing global insights to regional teams, a fundamental aspect in our matrixed organization. This strategic approach ensures that our consulting endeavors not only address immediate challenges but also align with broader organizational goals across the MENA and beyond.

Hours of Work

This is a full-time permanent position based in Dubai and will require hybrid working from our Dubai office.

This position will require occasional travel.
