Hse (Health, Safety, and Environment) Officer

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for promoting and ensuring a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by developing, implementing, and overseeing compliance with safety programs, regulations, and best practices.
- Identifying risks, training employees, conducting inspections, and fostering a safety-oriented culture within the organization.
- Provide safety induction to the newly appointed employee in the company.
- Check if all the employees are acting in adherence with the PPE rules and regulations
- Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes
- Monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations.
- Coordinating with external third-party companies for the inspection of equipment and training of the company personnel.
- Correct unsafe acts or conditions through the regular line of authority.
- Conducting toolbox meetings.
- Assisting the QHSE manager in HSE related works.
- Creating purchase requisitions for HSE related items and equipment
- Enforcing safety guidelines.
- Assisting in carrying out drills and exercises on how to manage emergency situations.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- HSE certification, such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent, is highly desirable.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in construction.
