MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:Able to multitask in environment with constantly shifting priorities
- Qualifications in accordance with certification procedures or Certification in QC methods, Level II or above, preferred.
- Have working knowledge of codes and standards, minimum of 5 years preferred.
- Have working knowledge with drawings, sketches, etc.
- Must have intermediate level knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access
- Must be able to work in a potentially hazardous, metal cutting environment consisting of hot pipe, loud noise, elevated temperatures and smoky atmosphere
- Ability to read and write
- Ability to use Measuring and Test Equipment and standard tools, such as Electronic DFT gage, WFT comb gage ,Testex micrometer Dial thickness gage, temperature measuring devices, etc.
- Ability to collaborate and find resolutions to problems or disagreements.
- Ability to provide assessment and coaching of lower level employees.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Punctual and timely with regular work attendance
- Possess proper work ethics, not limited to, positive attitude, willingness to learn
- Ability to interpret and evaluate inspection results.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for monitoring and recording Coating activities as required by the Specification, Inspection & Test plan, and witnessing each stage till final inspection.
- Monitoring and Inspection of painting related activities. (Checking the weather conditions, Cleanliness’ of Pipes, Storage of Paints, etc.)
- Reviewing coating equipment calibrations and updating.
- Inspection of material Surface before/after blasting, checking surface profile
- Visual Inspection of coating surface and DFT measurement as per approved coating procedure/ITP
- Verification of painting and test equipment’s calibration certificate and review of material certificates delivered and intended to use in the project.
- Record site condition like Humidity, Dew point, Dry film Thickness, Wet-film Thickness, Holiday detection, Salt contamination test & other action as detailed in Inspection Test Plan.
- Responsible for preparation of all documentation reports.
- Responsible for of all type of Abrasive Blasting & Painting Inspection Method & Inspection Instruments.
- Monitoring Blasting & Painting activities at the yard & site - pipes structural, storage tanks, internal coating of pipes, u/g coating of pipes, Planning of manpower distribution & material requirement for the projects.
- Arranging stage wise inspection & clearance of documents, maintaining all records of Inspection & Testing and Materials Certificates Preparation of weekly and monthly report
