Marine Electricians are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on ships and other marine vessels. They ensure all electrical components and systems comply with safety standards and operate effectively under marine conditions. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of maritime electrical systems and regulations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, components, and equipment specific to marine vessels.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, including wiring, control systems, and power distribution.
- Operate and interpret results from electrical testing and diagnostic equipment to ensure systems function safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with ship engineers, captains, and maintenance teams to discuss electrical needs or resolve existing system issues.
- Ensure electrical installations align with maritime safety codes, customer requirements, and vessel specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment to avoid breakdowns or failures.
- Prepare electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for vessel-specific projects.
- Oversee the purchase, installation, and testing of electrical components and materials used on ships.
- Stay updated on advancements in marine electrical technology and integrate them into system upgrades or repairs.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of all electrical work conducted on vessels, including reports for inspections and audits.

Certification Requirements:

- Must possess validated educational qualifications such as a diploma, transcript of records, or technical skills certificates.
- Preferably holds work experience documentation, such as a Certificate of Employment from previous employers in the marine industry.
- Proven expertise as a marine electrician, with knowledge of maritime electrical standards (e.g., IMO, ABS, or other regulatory bodies).
- Familiarity with high-voltage systems, power generation, and distribution specific to marine environments.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Marine Electrician: 3 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
