As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of logistics operations, with a focus on global shipping and airfreight. Your role will involve managing the transportation, distribution, and storage of goods and ensuring the efficiency and timeliness of deliveries. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to optimize supply chain processes and meet customer requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement strategies for efficient global shipping operations.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers and freight forwarders to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
- Monitor shipping schedules, routes, and carriers' performance to optimize delivery times and minimize costs.
- Stay updated with international shipping regulations and customs procedures to ensure compliance.
- Manage airfreight shipments, including booking cargo space, coordinating with airlines, and tracking shipments.
- Evaluate airfreight options and negotiate contracts with airlines to secure favorable rates and terms.
- Work closely with customs brokers to ensure smooth clearance of airfreight shipments through customs.
- Identify opportunities for optimizing supply chain processes and reducing logistics costs.
- Collaborate with procurement and inventory management teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
- Implement logistics technology solutions, such as transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS), to streamline operations.
- Assess potential risks and disruptions to logistics operations, such as transportation delays, port congestion, or geopolitical issues.
- Develop contingency plans and mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of unforeseen events on supply chain operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement measures to mitigate risks related to transportation and storage of goods.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics operations and monitor performance against targets.
- Analyze logistics data and generate reports to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Present regular reports and updates to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for optimization.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CSCMP, CSCP) are a plus.
- Proven experience in logistics management, with a focus on global shipping and airfreight operations.
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with shipping carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
