Plays a vital role in ensuring that ship repair processes, equipment, and products meet the required quality standards.
- The primary duties and responsibilities may include:

- Quality Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of ship repairing, components, machinery, systems, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed inspection records, including test results, measurements, and any non-conformities identified during inspections.
- Testing and Analysis: Perform various tests and measurements using specialized tools and equipment to assess the quality, performance, and functionality of ship repairing services.
- Non-Conformance Resolution: Identify and document any non-conformities or defects found during inspections, and work with the relevant departments to resolve and address these issues.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and production teams to develop and implement quality control procedures, guidelines, and best practices.
- Process Improvement: Continuously monitor and evaluate ship repairing processes to identify areas for improvement and recommend necessary corrective actions.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that ship repairing activities adhere to applicable regulations, industry standards, and customer requirements.
- Supplier Evaluation: Conduct quality inspections and audits of suppliers and subcontractors to verify the quality of incoming materials and components.
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and determine the root causes of quality issues or failures, and propose preventive measures to avoid their recurrence.
- Training and Support: Provide guidance and support to production teams and staff regarding quality control processes, procedures, and requirements.

**Job Requirement**:

- Requirements: Degree or diploma in engineering, quality assurance, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a quality control inspector in the ship repairing or related industry. Knowledge of ship repairing processes, equipment, and quality standards.
- Familiarity with inspection tools, measuring instruments, and testing methods.
- Understanding of quality control principles, practices, and techniques. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints. Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work Location: Dubai

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dubai: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)

**Experience**:

- QA/QC - Ship repair - Welding: 2 years (required)

**Language**:

- English & Hindi (required)
