As a General Accountant specializing in MEP Contracting, you will be responsible for overseeing various accounting functions, including tax computation, financial report preparation, and auditing financial transactions. Your role will involve maintaining the confidentiality and security of financial information, posting journal entries, managing payrolls, and conducting in-depth financial analysis. Additionally, you will handle VAT filings, contribute to cost control efforts, and manage accounts payable and receivable.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage comprehensive accounting operations for MEP Contracting
- Compute taxes and prepare accurate financial reports, including handling VAT filings
- Conduct thorough audits of financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Maintain confidentiality and security of financial data
- Post journal entries and prepare various financial reports
- Administer payrolls and ensure timely disbursements
- Analyze accounts and effectively manage payables/receivables
- Implement cost control measures and conduct financial analyses
- Oversee PDC management and cost accounting processes
- Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile supplier/customer accounts
- Assist with office management tasks as needed
- Coordinate projects to optimize costs and enhance financial efficiency
- Produce accurate financial statements for reporting purposes
- Manage various accounts, payroll, invoices, and LC’s efficiently
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills in addressing financial challenges
- Exhibit excellent communication skills for effective collaboration
- Be self-motivated and capable of working independently

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting

**Experience**:

- 3 to 5 years of experience in Accounts, specifically within MEP contracting companies

**Languages**:

- Proficiency in English (preferred)
- Arabic language skills considered advantageous

**Software Skills**:

- Proficient in Strong Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP systems

**Requirements**:

- Immediate availability
- UAE driving license (optional)

**Salary**: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
