Position Overview:
The Business Development Officer (BDO) in a Football Events Company plays a crucial role in driving business growth, expanding the company's reach, and securing new partnerships and opportunities within the football events industry. The BDM will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on business prospects, establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and contributing to the overall success of the company's events.

Key Responsibilities:

- Market Research and Analysis:

- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential business opportunities, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Analyze data and insights to develop strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Business Strategy Development:

- Collaborate with the executive team to formulate business development strategies that enhance the company's position in the football events industry.
- Create and implement plans to penetrate new markets and expand the company's customer base.
- Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

- Identify and engage potential clients, sponsors, and partners for football events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including football clubs, sponsors, vendors, and other relevant entities.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Sales and Revenue Generation:

- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for football events.
- Identify and pursue sponsorship, advertising, and promotional opportunities to maximize revenue streams.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling proposals and presentations.
- Event Planning and Coordination:

- Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of football events.
- Provide input on event planning, logistics, and execution to meet client and attendee expectations.
- Identify potential areas for improvement based on client feedback and market trends.
- Networking and Industry Engagement:

- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Establish the company as a thought leader and key player in the football events sector.
- Leverage industry connections to identify new business opportunities.
- Budget Management:

- Develop and manage budgets related to business development and event planning activities.
- Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effectiveness in all business development initiatives.
- Reporting and Analysis:

- Provide regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends to the executive team.
- Analyze key metrics to measure the success of business development strategies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the sports or events industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the football events landscape and understanding of industry dynamics.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactical plans.
- Results-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.

**Salary**: AED9,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
