**Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders, including inflammatory bowel disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and liver disease
- Perform endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies and upper endoscopies
- Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory tests and imaging studies
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and lifestyle modifications
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, radiologists, and primary care physicians
- Participate in ongoing medical education and research, staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in gastroenterology
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

**Requirements**:

- Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited medical school
- Completion of a gastroenterology fellowship program
- Board certification in gastroenterology
- Licensure to practice medicine in the state
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting
- Research experience and publications in the field of gastroenterology
- Experience with electronic medical records
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
