**Role purpose**:
The Collection Officer will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts, initiating contact with clients to facilitate payment, and offering customer support in matters concerning collections. Also maintain a high level of professionalism in managing sensitive information and communicating effectively with clients to attain mutually beneficial payment resolutions.

**Key accountabilities**:

- Facilitate communication between the finance, sales team and the customers to resolve outstanding invoices.
- Oversee and manage assigned accounts to identify and address overdue debts.
- Visit the customers to inquire about the payment statuses.
- Plan daily customer visits and establish optimal visit routes to maximize debt collections and ensure prompt payments.
- Ensure timely follow-up with customers for payments in accordance with due dates and Statement of Account (SOA).
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers while strictly adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit weekly collection reports to the Finance Director.
- Proactively anticipate and propose appropriate action plans to mitigate potential deterioration in collections.
- Report progress on collections and any encountered issues to the Finance Director.
- Comply with laws and regulations related to debt collection.
- Collect cheques/Post-Dated Cheques (PDCs) from customers and submit them to the Finance team along with a comprehensive report.

**Secondary duties**:

- Conduct periodic reviews of customer accounts to identify potential risks or opportunities for improvement in collection processes.
- Participate in meetings or presentations to senior management on collection performance and strategies for improvement

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelors in Finance/commerce or any relevant fields
- Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English, both written and verbal.
- Highly skilled in MS Office and Excel software.

**Required Experience**:

- Previous experience in collections, recoveries, or a related role is a plus.
- Results-driven and customer-focused mindset
- Strong knowledge of local debt recovery practices and regulations.

**Salary**: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
