**Job duties and responsibilities**
- Capable of leading and supervising a team of welders and training and mentoring junior welders.
- Ensure all welding tasks are completed to high standards.
- Troubleshoot welding issues and provide solutions.
- Maintain and inspect welding equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments on project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
- Monitor and manage welding project timelines.
- Conduct quality control checks on completed welds.
- Prepare and maintain welding documentation and reports.
- Coordinate with suppliers for welding materials and equipment.
- Assist in the development of welding techniques and processes.
- Participate in project planning and meetings.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the welding team.

**Job requirements/qualifications**
- 2 - 2 ½ years of proven experience working as a Welding Chargehand within the Oil and Gas Industry in any GCC country.
- Should possess strong English language skills (Verbal, Reading, Writing).
- Strong knowledge of welding materials and techniques.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
