A leading real estate developer in Sharjah is looking for an Assistant Contracts Manager to join their team.

An Assistant Contracts Manager plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing the firm's contracts with Consultants, Contractors, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Their responsibilities typically include:
1. Contract Development and Negotiation:
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Ensure that contracts comply with legal requirements, company policies, and industry standards.

Identify and mitigate potential risks in contract terms and conditions.

2. Contract Administration:
Maintain an organized system for contract management, ensuring all documentation is complete and easily accessible.

Monitor contract performance, ensuring all parties adhere to the agreed-upon terms and conditions.

Handle contract modifications, extensions, renewals, and terminations as necessary.

3. Risk Management:
Identify potential risks in contract terms and propose mitigation strategies.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.

Monitor and report on the status of contracts and any issues that may arise.

Implement risk management processes to minimize the impact of unforeseen events on project cost and schedule.

4. Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries and issues.

Liaise between the firm and external parties, such as Consultants, Contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, to resolve contract-related matters.

Facilitate clear and effective communication among internal teams, ensuring everyone is aware of contract terms and obligations.

5. Financial Management:
Manage contract budgets, ensuring that projects stay within financial constraints.

Track and report on contract financials, including payments, receivables, and cost control.

Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely invoicing and payment collection.

6. Dispute Resolution and Claim Management:
Address and resolve any contract disputes or claims promptly and effectively.

Work with legal counsel as needed to handle complex legal issues related to contracts.Implement dispute resolution procedures to minimize conflicts and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.

7. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Track and report on key contract performance metrics, such as deliverables, milestones, and compliance.

Conduct regular contract reviews and audits to ensure adherence to terms and identify areas for improvement.

Prepare and present regular reports on contract status and performance to senior management.

8. Training and Development:
Provide training and guidance to staff on contract management best practices and procedures.

Stay updated on industry trends and legal developments affecting contract management.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the firm's contract management processes.

9. Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with Consultants, main contractor, suppliers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.

Collaborate with internal teams, such as project management and engineering, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

10. Compliance:
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Stay updated on changes in legislation that may impact the construction project.

The Assistant Contracts Manager is essentially responsible for balancing the contractual aspects of the construction project, AMC Contracts, any other contracts or agreements, to ensure that it meets or exceeds the required goals and expectations. Effective communication, negotiation skills, effectively managed, reducing risks and enhancing the firm's operational efficiency and financial performance and a thorough understanding of all type of contracts and financial management are essential for success in this role

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
