**Summary**: We are looking for a Research Analyst to gather, analyse and interpret data related to retail market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities. Your insights will inform strategic decisions aimed at optimizing business performance and maintaining a competitive edge in the retail industry.

**Requirements**:
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive research on retail industry trends, including market size, growth projections and emerging opportunities.
- Analyze consumer behavior, preferences and purchasing patterns to identify key market segments and target audiences.
- Evaluate competitor strategies, product offerings, pricing strategies and market positioning.
- Track market share dynamics, assess competitive strengths and weaknesses.
- Collect and analyze sales data, customer feedback and operational metrics to identify patterns and insights.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Develop forecasts for sales, demand and inventory levels based on historical data and market trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic planning initiatives and decision-making processes.
- Provide insights to guide merchandising, marketing and promotional strategies.
- Generate actionable insights and recommendations to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency,and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and compelling manner.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, best practices and emerging trends to continuously refine analysis methodologies and insights.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or master's degree in Analytics, Business, Economics, Statistics or a related field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in research analytics, ideally in the retail industry.
- Proven experience in market research, data analysis, or business intelligence, preferably within the retail sector.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for uncovering insights and solving business challenges.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated capability in Power BI for creating dynamic reports and dashboards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data sets into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively sharing insights and collaborating with non-technical team members.
