PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Animal Keeper will be responsible for the animal’s well-being. This includes feeding the animals as per the dietary requirements provided by the Vet or Kennel management. Maintaining a clean, healthy, and safe environment for the cats and dogs, daily grooming, interaction play time and walking the dogs. Daily training and disciplinary with positive reinforcement and cleaning of all pet areas.

- Courses or certification - animal ethics, animal management and breeding behavior
- Registered Dog trainer

EXPERIENCE
- 2-3 years’ Experience working with animals in a professional capacity.
- Experience doing voluntary work with animals is recommended.
- Previous experience working at a veterinary clinic, Grooming parlour, or an animal carer

- Animal lover, patience
- Basic grooming knowledge
- Good communication skills
- Genuine respect for animals.
- Good observational skills.
- A “can do” attitude. Positive
- Thorough understanding of animal behaviour.
- Knowledge of different pet breeds
- Basic knowledge of cats and dogs
- Ability to work well with cats and dogs.
- Observe and read the pets body language.
- Understand animal needs.
- Observe and inform their team leader or/and the Vet team in case of any health issues noticed on the pet’s behaviour.
- Ability to identify problems.

SALARYGRADE 1-3 AED1,500 - AED3,000BENEFITS

**Salary**: AED1,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
