**Job Description**:
Our award-winning Building Services team is currently seeking an Associate, to join our Electrical team in the design studio in Abu Dhabi. The Associate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team leading the design for various historical projects across the Middle East.The Associate contributes to the development of the company by supporting the senior management team in the progressive evolution of AECOM’s design philosophy, research activities and technical development.

**Responsibilities**:
+ Contribute to successful project completion and management by providing expert technical services in accordance with the project time and quality.

+ Lead the coordination process with other Directors for continuity of the project.

+ Participate in preparation of bids and proposals on the commercial and technical side.

+ Review and check specifications, reports and drawings to ensure quality of design and output.

+ Assess if targets are achieved and determine where improvements could be made to increase efficiency.

+ Responsible for design activities of complete MEP systems as assigned. Responsible for technical analysis and resolution of engineering problems.

+ Responsible for technical reviews of internal and external projects.

+ Supervise and direct a team of engineers, designers and support personnel.

**Qualifications**:
+ BEng or BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

+ Working towards international accreditations (IET, CIBSE, or equivalent)

Additional Information

A minimum of 12+ years' experience in Electrical design, with a background in entertainment, retail or hospitality projects.
