**Job Summary**:
An Electrical Technician in a cement plant is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment within the plant. This role involves working with a variety of electrical devices, machinery, and control systems to ensure efficient plant operations and compliance with safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Maintenance and Repair**:

- Perform regular maintenance and repair on electrical equipment, including motors, transformers, generators, and lighting systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems in machinery and systems, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and VFDs.
- Replace or repair faulty electrical components, such as wiring, switches, and circuit breakers.
- **Installation**:

- Install new electrical systems and equipment as needed, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and plant specifications.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
- **Inspection and Testing**:

- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve potential issues before they lead to major problems.
- Perform electrical testing to ensure equipment is operating correctly and efficiently.
- Use diagnostic tools to analyse and interpret electrical data.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts used and hours worked.
- Prepare detailed reports on electrical system performance and maintenance activities.
- Update electrical schematics and technical documentation as needed.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to all safety regulations and plant policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and standards.
- Participate in safety training and drills.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other plant technicians, engineers, and supervisors to coordinate maintenance and repair activities.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and apprentices.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical certification or associate degree in electrical technology or a related field preferred.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an electrical technician, preferably in an industrial or cement plant.
- **Skills and Abilities**:

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including motors, transformers, and control systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- **Certifications**:

- Relevant electrical certifications or licenses preferred.

**Work Schedule**:

- Full-time position.
- May require overtime, weekend, and holiday work as needed.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Electrical Assistant in Industry: 2 years (preferred)
