1.Perform diagnostic imaging examinations, including X-rays, and ultrasounds, as ordered by physicians.
2.Ensure patients are positioned correctly and safely for imaging procedures.
3.Operate and maintain radiologic equipment in accordance with safety protocols and manufacturer instructions.
4.Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to obtain high-quality images and ensure accurate diagnoses.
5.Maintain patient records and ensure proper documentation of imaging procedures.
6.Adhere to patient privacy and confidentiality regulations, such as HIPAA.
7.Provide compassionate care and support to patients undergoing imaging procedures, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
8.Monitor patients for any adverse reactions during imaging procedures and take appropriate action if necessary.
8.Follow established radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure risks for patients, staff, and themselves.
10.Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and procedures through continuing education and professional development activities.
