**Position Title**: Tennis Coach **Location**: Ajman Academy, Sharjah **Experience**: Minimum 2 years of coaching experience **Employment Type**: Full-time **Role Overview**: Prosportsuae academy is looking to hire an enthusiastic and experienced Tennis Coach to join our sports department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tennis, a strong understanding of coaching techniques, and the ability to inspire and motivate students of varying skill levels. You will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs that enhance students' physical skills, sportsmanship, and overall performance in tennis. **Key Responsibilities**: 1. **Coaching & Instruction**: - Provide professional tennis coaching to students across various age groups and skill levels. - Develop and implement structured coaching plans that cater to the needs of both beginner and advanced players. - Conduct regular training sessions, focusing on improving technique, strategy, fitness, and mental toughness. - Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting individual goals. 2. **Program Development**: - Plan and organize tennis programs, including after-school activities, summer camps, and competitive matches. - Ensure that all coaching programs align with the academy’s overall sports curriculum. - Collaborate with the sports department to create a balanced and inclusive sports program. 3. **Safety & Compliance**: - Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students during training sessions and matches. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of sports safety standards and ensure that all practices adhere to these guidelines. - Report any accidents, injuries, or incidents promptly and accurately. 4. **Communication & Collaboration**: - Work closely with other coaches and staff members to coordinate schedules and share best practices. - Maintain open communication with students and their parents, providing updates on progress and addressing any concerns. - Act as a role model, promoting positive sportsmanship and discipline both on and off the court. 5. **Administration & Reporting**: - Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements. - Assist in the organization and management of tennis events, tournaments, and competitions. - Provide regular reports to the head of the sports department on program effectiveness and student outcomes. **Qualifications**: - A minimum of 2 years of experience as a tennis coach, preferably in an educational setting. - Certification from a recognized tennis coaching organization (e.g., ITF, PTR, or equivalent). - Strong knowledge of tennis techniques, rules, and regulations. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage students. - First Aid certification and knowledge of sports safety procedures. - Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage. **Preferred Attributes**: - Previous experience in a school or academic environment. - A passion for working with young people and helping them achieve their potential. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
