**1. PRIMARY PURPOSE**
- The UI/UX Designer needs a working understanding of coding to convey the brand's strengths through the interface and deliver the best online user experience. This role is crucial for the success of all PSI online interactions, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- The UI/UX Designer will conceptualize ideas using various methods and the latest technology, build wireframes, and design customer experiences for web and mobile platforms. Responsibilities include collecting, researching, investigating, evaluating, and designing graphics and visual user interface elements to support the overall experience.
- The aim is to build and maintain satisfactory customer online journeys.
- A strong background in visual arts, marketing, and communications is essential. An understanding of changing behaviors through interface and user experience concepts is a plus.

**2. RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Define and implement innovative and creative solutions, visuals, and experiences.
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to web development.
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Determine how users interact with products and services.
- Responsible for visual styling, including font choice, color scheme, graphics, buttons, and calls-to-action.
- Create user-centered designs reflecting business requirements, customer voice, user journeys, and usability findings.
- Optimize conversion rates.
- Perform metric analysis frequently to lead optimization efforts.
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
- Perform other similar or related duties as required or assigned by management.
- Conduct user research to learn about users' behaviors, goals, motivations, and needs.
- Perform metric analysis frequently to lead optimization efforts.
- Collect behavior data via interviews with users/stakeholders, competitive analysis, online surveys, empathy maps, and focus groups.
- Create user personas by identifying key user groups and developing representative personas to illustrate how the product fits into users' journeys.
- Determine the information architecture.
- Design mood boards, user flows, and low-fidelity wireframes.
- Create prototypes to test main interactions.
- Test products on users to ensure they meet the minimum qualifications required for go-to-market.
- Lead experience and journey meetings with stakeholders and conduct customer journey mapping.
- Oversee all UX/UI flows, analysis, and recommendations.
- Take the lead in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) to ensure “safe systems of work” and “safe conditions” within the area of responsibility.
- Perform other similar or related duties as required or assigned by management.

**3. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**

**A. Educational Requirements / Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design.
- UI/UX Design Certificate.
- Must have a UI design portfolio.

**B. Experience**:

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in UI/UX within an organization or 2 years of freelance experience focused on UI/UX designs.

**C. Skills and Competencies**:

- User research, user experience, and flow.
- User and interface design experience.
- Responsive web design.
- Wireframing and prototyping.
- Deep knowledge of front-end development.
- Deep knowledge of users’ journeys and human-computer interaction.
- Strong knowledge of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Dreamweaver, Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and InVision.
- Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent understanding of the latest trends and their role in a commercial environment.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
