Carpentry Helper

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Sand wood surfaces using hand and power tools to prepare them for painting, staining, or varnishing.
- Assist carpenters with basic tasks, including moving and setting up materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all sanding dust is properly collected and disposed of.
- Perform quality checks on sanded surfaces to ensure smoothness and readiness for finishing.
- Help with the assembly and fitting of wooden components as needed.
- Follow safety guidelines while using tools and handling materials.
- Report any defects or issues with materials or tools to the supervisor.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a Carpentry Helper or in a similar role is preferred.
- Basic understanding of carpentry tools and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, standing, and repetitive movements for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with power sanders and other woodworking tools.
- Basic knowledge of wood types and their characteristics.
