Ensure compliance to IMS system (QMS, EMS & OHSAS) and Cares system requirements by preparing, reviewing & updating the procedures and documents.
- Ensure that pre-operation inspection / check list, equipment trials carried out by the crew and any abnormalities noticed to be resolved with maintenance crew, pending issues to be mentioned in SAP notification & reported to immediate superior.
- Raw material Chemistry / Quality, Fluxes Chemistry / Quality, Tap Chemistry (C, S, P, Cu & Tramps), Tap ppm, Tap temp checking.
- Inspection of Furnace lining Condition (Banks, Pillars, EBT slope, Phase 1,2, 3 & nose, below Injectors, door and door electrode. Delta, EBT, End brick & tapping duration checking.
- Monitoring LF parameters like opening chemistry, opening temperature and slag condition. Ladles purging performance.
- Coordinating with Ladle bay for ladle rotation plan and tapping ladle Status. Out Ladles & Ladles under heating Status.
- Coordinating with CCM supervisor for Productivity plan, Sequence breaks, EAF/LF planned / un-planned activities and continuous communication & co-ordination as per the requirements.
