**Job Title**:
OPD Cardiology Nurse

**Location**:
Al Yahar Heart Center, Al Ain, UAE

**Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Care**: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the cardiology outpatient department, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with diagnostic procedures.
- **Patient Assessment**: Conduct initial assessments of patients, documenting their medical history, symptoms, and any current health concerns related to cardiovascular conditions.
- **Assisting Physicians**: Support cardiologists during consultations, examinations, and minor procedures, ensuring that all necessary equipment is available and prepared.
- **Patient Education**: Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, treatment plans, medication management, and lifestyle changes necessary for heart health.
- **Follow-Up Care**: Coordinate and schedule follow-up appointments, ensuring that patients receive continuous care and monitoring.
- **Medical Documentation**: Accurately document patient information, care provided, and any changes in condition in the hospital’s electronic medical record system.
- **Coordination of Care**: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including cardiologists, dietitians, and physiotherapists, to develop and implement personalized care plans for patients.
- **Emergency Response**: Respond to cardiac emergencies within the OPD, providing immediate care and coordinating with the emergency response team.
- **Inventory Management**: Manage and maintain medical supplies and equipment in the OPD, ensuring everything is sterilized and ready for use.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- **Licensing**: Valid DHA/HAAD/MOH license to practice as a registered nurse in the UAE.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in cardiology or a related field.
- **Skills**: Proficiency in performing ECGs, managing cardiac monitoring systems, and understanding of cardiovascular medications and their administration.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- **Patient-Centered Care**: Strong commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
- **Teamwork**: Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- **Technical Skills**: Competency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other healthcare technology

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- OPD cardiac: 1 year (required)

License/Certification:
