Hartland International School seeks to appoint an exceptional Teacher of **English **to support our expansion and provision across this phase of the school.

**The Post**

The English department consists of 8 staff and is a vibrant and dynamic department built on strong pedagogical practices. We believe that text choice is at the heart of an outstanding department and continually review our curriculum to inspire a love of reading in our students. Our impressive GCSE and A-Level results reflect a dedicated and committed department. The department run the school newspaper, facilitate a successful debating team and participate in a variety of competitions, enrichments and initiatives.

Located in the heart of Dubai in a developing residential community, Hartland’s unique vantage point is the iconic landmark of the Burj Khalifa and the downtown business and financial area of the city. Hartland International School is in its seventh year of operation and is already an established name on the educational landscape of Dubai.

We offer the Early Years Foundation Stage programme, followed by the National Curriculum for England across primary and Key Stage 3, with a full and wide range of GCSEs and A Levels in the upper secondary.
