Coordinates and directs patient care to ensure patients' needs are met and clinic policy is followed.
- Make Decisions that reflect knowledge of facts, knowledge of diseases/surgical conditions, care required and good judgment.
- Perform a head to toe patient assessment on all patients and reassess as needed.
- Assess and reassess pain. Utilizes appropriate pain management techniques. Educates the patient and family regarding pain management.
- Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
- Manages and operates equipment safely and correctly.
- Organization and management of nursing activities reflect due consideration for patients' needs and the needs of the department and staff.
- Treats patients and their families with respect and dignity, identifies and addresses psychosocial needs of patients and family. Practices good guest relations.
- Knowledge of mediations and IV fluids and their correct administration based on age of the patient and their clinical condition.
- Follows the five medication rights and reduces the potential for medication errors.
- Formulates an individualized plan of care as indicated, and evaluate for effectiveness.
- Formulates a teaching plan based upon identified learning needs and evaluates effectiveness of learning. Family is included in teaching as appropriate, from pre-op to discharge.
- Demonstrates knowledge of cardiac monitoring.
- Demonstrates an ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations.
- Consults other departments as appropriate to collaborate in patient care and performance improvement activities.
- Assist physicians with procedures both in clinic and other departments as needed.
- Communicates appropriately and clearly to physicians and administrative team.
- Maintains performance improvement for department.
- Performs management activities including interviewing, hiring and firing.
- Documentation meets current standards and policies.
- Ensures medical and surgical asepsis is carried out by the staff.

**Salary**: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- hospital or primary health care: 2 years (required)

**Language**:

- Arabic & English (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Eligibility letter or DHA (preferred)
