To carry out container repair works, as directed.
- Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
- Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
- Fabricates the components and parts that are made from metal.
- Work on one set of components, as well as work on finished products.
- Deliver metal to job sites once it is finished being fabricated in the shop.
- Report any damage to or breakdown of the workshop and/or equipment immediately to the Container Inspector/Supervisor.
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
- Make sure the workshop and equipment are always kept clean and tidy.
- Report any damage occurring during handling of containers to the Container Inspector/Supervisor without delay.
