Pediatric Nurse

**Job Summary**:
The Pediatric Nurse specializing in ADHD is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to children and adolescents with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and other behavioral or developmental disorders. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care, support, and education to patients and their families.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Care**:

- Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients to evaluate their health status and identify needs related to ADHD.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare providers.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for side effects and efficacy.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families, addressing concerns related to ADHD management.
- **Coordination and Collaboration**:

- Work closely with physicians, psychologists, therapists, and educators to coordinate care and ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Liaise with schools and community organizations to facilitate comprehensive support for patients.
- **Education and Advocacy**:

- Educate patients and families about ADHD, treatment options, and strategies for managing symptoms.
- Advocate for patients’ needs within the healthcare system and the community.
- Provide resources and referrals to support groups and educational programs.
- **Documentation and Compliance**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting all aspects of patient care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay informed about the latest research and developments in ADHD and pediatric nursing.
- Participate in continuing education opportunities and professional organizations.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in UAE.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric nursing, preferably with a focus on ADHD or behavioral health.
- Experience in developing and implementing care plans for pediatric patients with ADHD.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- DHA Registered.
- Arabic Speaker.

**Working Conditions**:

- Work is typically performed in a hospital or clinic setting.
- May require occasional evening or weekend shifts to accommodate patient needs.

Pay: From AED6,000.00 per month
