**Job Title: Public Relations Officer (PRO)**

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- **Government Liaison**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact between the organization and government agencies, officials, and representatives.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with government stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and support for organizational goals and initiatives.
- Monitor government policies, regulations, and legislation relevant to the organization's operations and communicate updates to internal stakeholders.
- **Public Relations Campaigns**:

- Develop and implement public relations campaigns and strategies to promote the organization's mission, objectives, and initiatives.
- Plan and execute events, press conferences, and other public relations activities to raise awareness and generate positive publicity.
- Create press releases, media kits, and other materials to communicate key messages to the media and the public.
- **Media Relations**:

- Cultivate relationships with members of the media, including journalists, reporters, and editors.
- Respond to media inquiries and interview requests, and proactively pitch story ideas to generate media coverage.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare media monitoring reports to track the organization's presence in the media.
- **Crisis Communication**:

- Develop and implement crisis communication plans to effectively manage and respond to crises or emergencies.
- Serve as the organization's spokesperson during crisis situations, providing timely and accurate information to the media and the public.
- **Internal Communication**:

- Coordinate internal communication efforts to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and distribute internal communications, including newsletters, memos, and updates on key initiatives and events.
- **Community Engagement**:

- Engage with community organizations, advocacy groups, and other stakeholders to build support for the organization's activities and initiatives.
- Attend community events and meetings to represent the organization and foster positive relationships with community members.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of [X] years of experience in public relations, communications, or a related field, with specific experience in government relations or government affairs.
- **Knowledge**: In-depth understanding of government regulations, policies, and procedures, as well as the political landscape at local, state, and federal levels.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- **Relationship Building**: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with government officials, stakeholders, and the media.
- **Strategic Thinking**: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic communication plans and initiatives to achieve organizational objectives.
- **Crisis Management**: Experience in crisis communication and the ability to respond effectively to high-pressure situations.
- **Teamwork**: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments and functions to achieve common goals.

**Education**:
Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field required. Advanced degree or additional certifications in government affairs or public administration preferred.

**Experience**:
2 years of experience in all government services.

**Salary**: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
