Job Purpose:
Architect or civil engineer with strong BIM authoring capabilities using Revit to deliver interior design projects.

**Responsibilities**:
Interior Design
- Assist in feasibility study of projects.
- Responsible for the production of presentation drawings for concepts based on project requirements
- Production of detailed layouts and plans for projects under the supervision of senior designers.
- Production of drawing and related marketing collateral.
- Site visits to ensure that work is being executed as per drawings.
- Maintenance of Common data environment and records pertaining to drawings.

BIM Technical
- Building Information Model Authoring, Collaboration, Model Management, and supportive tasks
- Model Authoring: _
- Responsible for production of Interior Design Building Information Models (LOD 100 to 500 OR LOMD 5).
- Production of drawings, schedules, and quantity take-off from BIModels.
- Responsible for accuracy of construction drawings from BIModels.
- Collaboration: _
- The ability to Leverage BIM software and tools as a methodology to coordinate design documentation.
- Collaborate and Coordinate with other disciplines and update ID BIModels.
- Collate drawing sets for the design team and participate in design coordination and review.
- Prepare ID models and content for BIM Coordination Meetings.
- Coordinate with BIM Service providers and Sub-Consultants.
- General understanding of interoperability between software used to accomplish tasks in an Architectural design studio.
- Model Management: _
- Daily model management and maintenance.
- Adherence to BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria.
- Ability to follow BIM content standards and development procedures.
- Support Tasks: _
- May take the lead on developing Interior model content like parametric families and type catalogues for the project.
- Assist the Interior Design team by shadowing staff to help execute skills from training sessions.
- Assist BIM manager in developing content and standards.
- Effective communication and proficient writing skills.

Qualification:
Diploma or bachelor’s in architecture or Technical qualification in Civil drafting/training in Revit.

**Experience**:

- Min. 3 years post-graduate experience.
- Experience in working for Projects in Dubai or UAE that involve complex, multiphase, large scale residential buildings/projects.
- Experience of working with Architectural and ID large scale BIModels (LOD 400 or LOMD 4) is preferred.

Skills and Software Knowledge:

- Skills: _
- Strong visual awareness and an eye for detail.
- Good sketching and presentation skills.
- Good verbal, written communication skills.
- Software Expertise: _
- Advanced knowledge and experience in using the BIM Authoring tool Revit and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of BIM Aggregation tools such as Autodesk Navisworks or Solibri Model Viewer.
- Knowledge/Experience in using BIM 360 Docs and Design.
- Competency in using Adobe Photoshop and Indesign is an added advantage.
- Intermediate proficiency in SketchUp
- Visualisation using Lumion/Enscape is an added advantage.

**Salary**: AED8,000.00 per month
