Kitchen Helper

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist cooks and chefs in the preparation and cooking of a variety of dishes.
- Help with the organization and proper storage of ingredients, spices, and condiments.
- Follow recipes and instructions provided by the cooks and chefs to ensure consistency and quality in food preparation.
- Assist in the chopping, dicing, and slicing of vegetables, meats, and other ingredients as required.
- Measure and weigh ingredients accurately for recipes.
- Operate kitchen equipment, such as mixers, grinders, ovens, and stovetops, under the guidance of the cooks and chefs.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to achieve desired flavors and textures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning utensils, pots, and pans.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling and storage of ingredients.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure a smooth flow of operations and timely delivery of dishes.
- Follow instructions from the cooks and chefs to ensure efficient teamwork.
- Assist in cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment.
- Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and quality control of ingredients.
- Perform other general kitchen duties as assigned by the cooks, chefs, or kitchen manager. Requirements:

- Previous experience as a kitchen helper or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment is desirable.
- Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately.
- Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow in a culinary career.
- Good organizational skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff members.
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Al ain : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Salary**: AED1,200.00 - AED1,500.00 per month
