**Required Basic Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS or a related field.

**Desired Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a GIS Editor / Analyst.
- Proficiency in ArcMAP.
- Experience with 2D data capturing and analysis is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Responsibilities**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled GIS Editor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of our geospatial data. You will use your expertise in GIS software and data management to edit, update, and maintain our spatial datasets, contributing to the creation of valuable maps, reports, and analyses.
- Create New 2D features using ArcMAP.
- Edit and update existing geospatial data using established protocols and procedures.
- Perform quality control checks to identify and correct errors in data attributes and geometry.
- Standardize data formatting and symbology according to organizational guidelines.
- Create and maintain documentation for datasets, including metadata and lineage information.
- Prepare data for maintainance and store in Geodatabase and update in SDE.
- Analyze and troubleshoot data issues when needed.
- Expertise in Data Versioning and data validation.
- Collaborate with GIS Analysts, data providers, and other stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and usability.
- Communicate effectively to explain data issues and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
