- Prepare detailed and accurate MEP (Mechanical/HVAC/Electrical/FF&FA System/Plumbing) drawings using CAD & any software, adhering to project specifications and standards.

- Preparation of shop/detail drawings and as built drawings
- Preparation of MEP coordination drawings and load Schedules
- Proficiency in using MEP drafting software (AutoCAD, etc.)
- Use computer-aided design software to create 2D technical drawings
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, components, and terminology
- Previous experience in drafting for MEP projects within the contracting sector
- Knowledge of relevant industry codes, regulations, and standards.
- Collaborate with Supervisor/Engineers and project managers to interpret design concepts and translate them into comprehensive technical drawings.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Generate and update documentation, including equipment schedules, material lists, and construction details.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to integrate MEP systems within the overall project design.
- Conduct field visits as necessary to verify existing conditions and gather relevant data for drafting purposes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

**Draughtsman Requirements**
- Five years of minimum experience with AutoCAD software and experience in Construction/Fit out company.
- Maths skills and attention to detail
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering.

**Draughtsman Qualifications**
- The education and qualifications for a Draughtsman job description might include the following:

- A National Diploma, Associate’s Degree/Civil Engineer
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
