**About the role**:
QA lead primarily responsible for developing effective and efficient methods, maintains documentation throughout the QA process, communicates with product & development teams to provide a reliable, consistent, and positive end user experience meeting delivery timeline and reduce manual efforts by Test automation and increase ROI

Closely work with product managers to get the requirements and design, assign team members to validate as per the business requirements.
**Core Responsibilities**:

- Continuously work with internal team and with other business units in the organization to prevent and find defects that arise during the QA process.
- Act as a liaison between QA teams and business users during UAT and present progress using **JIRA dashboards**
- Hands-on experience using QA testing techniques and industry-standard software tools - selenium or similar( **web**), Appium or similar( **mobile**), Rest assured, postman or similar( **webservice**) test automation, JMeter( **performance**), **agile** tools such as JIRA & confluence, **Versioning** system - git or similar, Project management & **CI** tools - Maven, Jenkins or similar
- Design and Develop Automation frameworks and test suites
- SPOC for the complete QA activities which includes functional & non-functional testing, regression testing, and Test automation and takes initiatives on innovative testing & best practices
- Mentor QA Engineers, Partners, Product managers, Developers and Designers to establish healthy quality assurance processes and practices in the teams
- Expertise with context driven and exploratory testing with experience using a number of testing heuristics
- Thoroughly analyzes requirements and comes up with test strategy to be applied based on best practices and project specificities
- Raise defects and review and understand defects entered by UAT team members and translate those into actionable items and Coordinate resources during test campaigns (SIT / UAT)
- Experience in Test Management Tools like X-ray or similar, creating **CI/CD pipeline**
- Expertise in programming languages and able to build custom built functions and design patterns
- Experience in E-commerce domain, SAP IS-retail, salesforce commerce cloud, OMS & supply chain would be plus
- Recommend areas for improvement regarding processes and the overall approach to testing and production support
- Work with digital product owners and scrum team to define the requirements coverage matrix, extract test scenarios from the business requirements
- Hands on experience in Web, Mobile & API Test automation

**Job requirements**:

- Bachelors/ Masters or Engineering in Computer Science or relevant field.
- ISTQB, testing techniques /test automation tool certified preferred

**Experience**:

- Has 7 to 12 years hands on validation experience on Web, mobile and webservices testing & Test automation.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in the field of test management, including experience with E-commerce and Scrum
